2011 Annual Report of the Good Samaritan Society
May 10, 2012
Four stories about people and programs that embody the mission and ministry of the Good Samaritan Society are featured in the Society’s 2011 Annual Report.
These stories include:
- A program in Luverne, Minn., that pairs residents of a rehabilitation/skilled care center with teenage boys in a detention center
- A day in the life of a Good Samaritan Society resident in Brainerd, Minn., who, at age 99, is an example of how age is no barrier for leading a rich and meaningful life
- A staff member’s decision to donate the use of her home to a co-worker in need in Prescott Valley, Ariz.
- A grant provided by the Good Samaritan Society that helped fund a computer lab for new immigrants to Sioux Falls, S.D.
